Blood on their hands
The latest police ombudsman’s report confirms what many in the North had suspected for years: that loyalist terrorists on the British government payroll had killed innocent Catholics and Protestants. Coming at such a sensitive time for the peace process, it doesn’t make it any easier for Sinn Fein/IRA to win over their sceptical supporters and endorse the new police force in Northern Ireland.
