Iran threatens to strike US interests if attacked
This threat should be taken seriously indeed. Iran’s trump card here is their allies Hezbollah - the same organization which forced the Israelis out of South Lebanon and also forced president Regan to pull US troops out of there when they killed 230 marines in one single suicide attack. If Iran can convince their minions in Hezbollah to go out and attack American interests abroad, the results could be quite dramatic.
